a one-of-a-kind boxed set of 12 blank notecards with envelopes designed by students at THEARC. these cards feature original illustrations and poetry by students in the washington middle school for girls @ THEARC and corcoran artreach @ THEARC. the blank-inside cards make a wonderful, seasonless gift. proceeds from the sale of these notecards benefit the one in a million campaign for THEARC.

THEARC is a home away from home for many underserved children and adults east of the anacostia river in washington, dc, enabling them to participate in dance classes, music instruction, fine arts, academics, continuing education, mentoring, tutoring, recreation, medical and dental care, and other services at substantially reduced cost or no cost at all. since official opening its doors in october 2005, THEARC has served thousands of residents of the surrounding southeast dc community; currently, more than 2,000 children and their parents are enrolled in programs at THEARC.
